Our Story
Bohorockers began in 2002, when founder Philip Cooper crafted the first chair in Tarifa, Spain — designed simply for an afternoon siesta. The chair quickly drew attention and was featured in Habitania, the Spanish design magazine.
By 2006, production had scaled to India, where Bohorockers developed a dedicated export model and began supplying in container volumes worldwide.
Over the past 20 years, the business has navigated global challenges — from financial crises and cotton shortages to the pandemic and shifting markets. Throughout, one thing has remained constant: the allure of the Bohorockers chair.

I personally craft small batch chairs made for boutique hotels and individuals. Made mostly from 100% solution dyed acrylic fabric, like Sunbrella, but also faux fur. The prices are much higher due to small volume, expense of the fabric and shipping....all by arrangement.
The chair arrived, we put it up and it hasn't been empty since.
It is my best find ever, I love it.
